Anjan Dutta-Gupta founded Advanced Solutions For Tomorrow in 1992 and has served as President of the company since then. Mr. Dutta-Gupta is actively involved in all aspects of the business and provides the strategic vision for the company. Under his leadership the company acquired AMTECH Corporation in 1996, and has been awarded contracts with large clients, including the United States Navy. Prior to starting his own company, Mr. Dutta-Gupta served as Chief Financial Officer and Administrator of a software-programming company where he served clients such as EDS, HUD, Anderson Consulting, HBO, Delta and many others. He also worked in American Express's International Banking Division for nine years. Mr. Dutta-Gupta received his undergraduate degree from the University of Calcutta and his MBA in Economics / Accounting from the Institute of Business Management.

Indrani Dutta-Gupta, Ph.D. serves as Executive Vice President. She is responsible for a diverse array of tasks including representing ASFT in the formal capacity of Public Relations. In addition, Dr. Dutta-Gupta assists in advising the human resources department to develop the company's policies and procedures. Prior to joining ASFT in 2000, she worked as a technical writer for British Aerospace Engineering and was an Assistant Professor of English at Kennesaw State University. While in her academic profession, Dr. Dutta-Gupta presented papers in the U.K., Australia and the United States. Prior to moving to the U.S. she was a teacher in India. Dr. Dutta-Gupta received her Masters degree from Jadaypur University in Calcutta, India and her Ph.D. in English from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Wayne King serves as the Executive Vice President / Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. King holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. After graduating in June 1970, Mr. King began his career with the Submarine Combat Systems Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, Rhode Island. His work assignments have involved every aspect of Combat Systems where he conducted and managed a full spectrum of Programs ranging from basic research and technology development, to advanced development, engineering development, systems acquisition, system certification, fleet delivery, operational deployment, in-service engineering. Along with his technical experience, Mr. King has held every management position in NUWC's Combat Systems Department, including Principal Investigator, Technical Manager, Project Manager, Branch Head, Division Head, Program Manager and Department Head.

Patrick Nagle serves as Senior Vice President, CFO / Director of Contracts. He is responsible for the financial and administrative functions of the company, including management of accounting, contract administration and human resources. Mr. Nagle interfaces with ASFT's business development and operations functions to assure process continuity, and provides direct support to customers as needed. He is also solely responsible for managing all audit engagements, both internal and external, with ASFT’s independent auditors and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). All corporate financial reports are approved by Mr. Nagle before being submitted to the CEO and Board of Directors. He joined the company in 1996, as the Director of Contracts Administration and was promoted to Sr. Vice President in 2001. Prior to joining ASFT, Mr. Nagle worked as a public accountant with an emphasis on tax preparation and planning. He then became the Controller for AMTECH Corporation from 1993 until its purchase by ASFT in 1996. Mr. Nagle has amassed a tremendous amount of experience in all aspects of the government contracting has enabled ASFT to diversify its business into other areas including manufacturing. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Rhode Island and a MS degree in Accounting from Salve Regina University.

Philip Higgins serves as the Senior Vice President /Director of Government Services. Mr. Higgins holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Mathematics from Rhode Island College. After graduating, Mr. Higgins began his career as a teacher in the Scituate School System in Scituate RI. In addition to teaching Mr. Higgins served as Mathematics Department Head, Athletic Director, and coach of various sports. After fifteen years of teaching Mr. Higgins changed careers and took a position with the Weapons and Vehicles Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, Rhode Island as a reliability engineer. His work assignments have involved many aspects of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV). After serving a tour at the Program Office, Mr. Higgins returned to NUWC where he conducted and managed a full spectrum of UUV/Mobile Target Programs ranging from basic research and technology development, to advanced development, engineering development, systems acquisition, fleet delivery, operational deployment, in-service engineering. Along with his technical experience, Mr. Higgins has held various management positions in NUWC's Weapons and Vehicles Department, including Principal Investigator, Technical Manager, Project Manager, Branch Head, Division Head, and Program Manager. When The Weapons and Vehicles Project Area Director's office was established, Mr. Higgins assumed the role of Customer Advocate for all UUV Programs.

Norman LaBrecque. Norman LaBrecque serves as Senior Vice President and is responsible for Business Development. He brings 30 years of professional experience, including 19 years of experience in systems design, integration, and life cycle management, and 20 years in large-scale program and project management. Prior to ASFT, he was a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) managing their Army Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) business. Prior to his work at BAH he served in the US Army where he held a variety of senior positions around the world in both service and joint commands. Mr. LaBrecque's degrees include a Master of Project Management with Distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oregon State University.

Mary E. O'Rourke, Esq. serves as Senior Vice President, Director of Strategic Planning. Ms. O’Rourke is a 1985 graduate of Providence College where she holds a BS in Finance and received her JD from the New England School of Law in 1989. By coordinating with cross-functional teams throughout ASFT, Mary has been successful in leveraging business relationships to secure contract funding in support of ASFT’s core technical/product capabilities. Ms. O’Rourke is responsible for the implementation of a proactive government relations strategy and provides data on legislative and governmental trending impacting ASFT’s business model, contracts and customers. Ms. O’Rourke maintains working relationships with key congressional offices, state officials and relevant community and professional organizations in an effort to maximize ASFT’s overall positive impact in the community. Prior to joining ASFT, Ms. O’Rourke was in private practice concentrating in litigation and business law.

Dennis Craft serves as Vice President, Northeast Operations. Mr. Craft is responsible for the execution of tasks in support of various Support Service Contracts and liaisons with the Government points of contacts including the Task Order Manager and Principle Investigators. He is responsible for the coordination of resources, monitoring support services for quality, and attending technical and programmatic meetings and financial tracking. He is further responsible for negotiating estimated costs and support requirements and reports and reviews financial status with customers throughout task performance. Mr. Craft has over 32 years of submarine-related work experience and 18 years of cumulative specialized experience in Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Configuration Management and Technical Support Services. His prior work assignments have included Program Manager and Senior Technical Representative of the Engineering and Technical Services and QE2 Task Manager at PURVIS Systems and the Lead Engineer supporting Operations and Maintenance for Raytheon Service Company. Mr. Craft holds an AS in Science from Roger Williams University.

Chuck Sippel serves as Vice President, Business Office Manager. Mr. Sippel’s primary responsibility is for monitoring and profitability of all ASFT contracts. He is responsible for the coordination of resources, monitoring support services for quality, and attending technical and programmatic meetings. He is further responsible for development of all new business proposals, coordination with partner companies and contract negotiations. Mr. Sippel has over 41 years experience in System Engineering, Systems Installation and Test & Evaluation for Navy Ship Systems. He has over 31 years management experience and extensive background with large companies as Director of New England Operations at American Systems Corporation and Senior Technical Director at Anteon providing operational management and business development of federal and commercial markets within Security and Telecommunications industries. Chuck is also a Veteran having served in the US Navy Submarine Service. He has degrees in Business Management and Computer Science.
