System Test and Evaluation Analyst

LOCATION

Manassas, VA

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate would have extensive operational experience as a Fire Control Technician, Sonar Technician, or Machinist Mate (Weapons).

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Assist in the test conduct of various longevity tests, External Interface Tests (EITs), Performance Verification Tests (PVTs), and Government Acceptance Tests (GATs) on submarine Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems as a tester and evaluator.
  • Report/Record all deficiencies found during testing.
  • Investigate deficiencies and communicate findings to software developers.
  • Test to verify that deficiencies have been fixed.
  • Prepare, analyze and edit test plans and procedures for the various tests.
  • Act as the sub-contractor representative at all testing sessions and meetings.
  • Attend review boards weekly.
  • Attend all other required meetings.
  • Submit daily progress/status reports.

GENERAL

  • Schedule must be flexible to accommodate all shifts.

TRAVEL

  • Approximately 25%.

CLEARANCE

  • Must be able to obtain and hold a government secret security clearance.
